DOHA: Qatar U19 national team will start its qualifying campaign for the AFC U-20 Championship for Youth in Uzbekistan on Wednesday against Sri Lanka as part of Group B matches.
Qatar play in Group B along with Yemen, Turkmenistan, Sri Lanka. Group B matches will be played at Aspire Academy pitches from November 6 to 10.

Turkmenistan and Sri Lanka were the first to arrive in Doha for the qualifiers, with the Yemeni team arriving on Monday.
It was also decided to hold a technical meeting and a press conference for coaches at Aspire Academy on Tuesday in the presence of a coach and a player for the participating teams.
The qualifiers tournament was divided into two geographical regions: West (West Asia, South, and Central) with 25 teams in six groups and the East (East Asia and ASEAN) with 21 teams in five groups.
The first-place teams qualify for the finals in each of the 11 groups, along with with the top four of second-place teams, and the host country, which receives the direct qualification card.
