DOHA: The second edition of the hugely popular Qatargas U-23
League will kick off on Sept 4.
The Qatar Football Association (QFA) confirmed this on Wednesday.
The 2018-19 edition will feature 12 teams: Al Duhail, Al Sadd,
Qatar SC, Al Rayyan, Al Kharaitiyat, Al Gharafa, Umm Salal, Al Ahli,
Al Khor, Al Arabi, Al Sailiya and Al Shahaniya. All these clubs
have teams in the QNB Stars League.
The first-round matches will commence on Sept 4. The matches will
continue until December 11.
The matches will be played on Mondays and Tuesdays with three games
on each day.
The matches will be played at Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium, Suhaim Bin
Hamad Stadium, Saud Bin Abdulrahman Stadium, Thani Bin Jassim Stadium,
Al Arabi Stadium and Al Khor Stadium.
For the first three rounds, the matches will kick off at 6:15pm and
8:30 pm.
