DOHA: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) has made an amendment to the dates for the quarter-final matches of the Amir Cup for the sports season 2020-2021.
The changes have been made so that matches for this round will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, corresponding to 2-3 next March, instead of Saturday and Sunday 27-28 February.
Al-Duhail will meet Al-Shamal at Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium, while Al-Kharaitiyat will meet Al-Rayyan at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium, on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, March 3, Al-Gharafa will meet Al-Sadd at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium, while Al-Arabi faces Al-Sailiya on the same day at Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium, and the two matches will be held at the same time, respectively.
While the two semi-final matches will be set later, which will bring together the winners from the Al-Duhail, Al-Shamal, Al-Kharaitiyat and Al-Rayyan matches in the first match, and the second meeting brings together the winners from Al-Gharafa and Al-Sadd matches with Al-Sailiya and Al-Arabi, so that the two winners qualify for the final match, which will be determined later as well.
