DOHA: The Qatar Football Association (QFA), as a measure of actively pursuing its policy of social responsibility, distributed 500 health kits containing medical supplies and sterilization tools to QFA workers, club workers and among expat communities
QFA has undertaken preventive measures to limit the spread of the Covid 19 virus in Qatar.
QFA’s Marketing and Communications Department, Khalid Al Kuwari joined fellow QFA officials Ali Al-Salat, Abdul Rahman Abdul Jabbar and Nabeel Qaid to distribute health bags among QFA employees at their residence and also to workers at Al Ahli, Al Arabi and Al Gharafa clubs, to help them in the current circumstances to confront this pandemic.
The latest move comes within the framework of the social responsibility of QFA at a time when every effort is being carried out in the country to limit the spread of this virus.
At QFA headquarters, hand sanitizers have been placed at every floor and doorway next to the elevators.
Khalid Mubarak Al Kuwari said: “Since the beginning of this crisis, QFA has participated aggressively in limiting the spread of this epidemic by extending medical advice to QFA members and to all segments of society. The need to take precautionary action and preventive measures is absolutely essential at this point in time."
Football players have also taken part in initiatives that highlight the precautionary action and preventive measures underlined by an order from the office of QFA President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani. The QFA family is also currently working via remote access at their homes as Qatar government continues to inform people of maintaining social distancing.
Al Kuwari added: "In this context, we have also distributed health bags for 500 people. The health bags contain medical supplies, cleaning and sterilization tools, in addition to personal and protective hygiene kits.
