DOHA: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) participated in the AFC
Conference on Social Responsibility which opened on Wednesday and
lasted for two days at the AFC headquarters in Kuala Lumpur.
The QFA was represented by Khaled Mubarak Al Kuwari, Director of
Marketing and Communication Department and Khalifa Haroun, Marketing
Consultant of QFA General Secretary.
The conference focused on social development through football using
themes like children, youth, integrity, education, social solidarity,
health, charitable initiatives, social reform and disaster mitigation.
Immediately following the conference, the 2018 Asia Dream Awards were
held.
QFA was given the Asian Dream Award 2014 in recognition of the great
efforts it has made in the field of social responsibility and was one
of the candidates for the 2016 Asian Dream Award as well.
