DOHA: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) has launched the media accreditation for the 2018 Emir Cup.
The five-week football tournament - the most popular sports event in Qatar - will end on May 19 with the grand finale set to take place at the Khalifa International Stadium.
QFA has urged media professionals and broadcasting groups to register themselves for the event through the following link.

Those interested in covering the event should register between April 4, 2018 and April 8, 2018. For those wishing to start the tournament from the second stage to the semi-final stage, they can register by Tuesday, 17-4-2018.
To complete the registration process, the media individuals must attache a photo.
As for the international media, they must register via the above link and attach the following:
- A color photograph of the passport with the expiry date of the passport clearly visible.
- An accredited media card.
- A stamped letter from the employer.
The media accreditation cards will be distributed to media professionals from the media department of QFA which is located in the 27th floor of Al Bidda Tower.
