DOHA: Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of the Qatar Football Association (QFA), received on Wednesday at his office Révérien Ndikuriyo, President of the Burundian Senate and President of the Burundian Football Association.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Muhannadi, Vice President of QFA and AFC, Mansour Al Ansari, Secretary General of QFA, Ali Dawood, Executive Director of the President’s Office, and Mushtaq Al Waeli, Executive Director of the Office of Strategic and Institutional Planning, QFA.
During the meeting, consultations were held on many topics of common interest. The two parties also agreed on joint cooperation between the two federations.
It was agreed that an emphasis on the necessity of continuous communication should be maintained at various regional, continental and international levels.
The two football chiefs also discussed ways and means to develop football in both countries.
