DOHA: On the sidelines of the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup, QFA President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani received on Friday afternoon Taj Mahdi, President of the Iranian Football Association at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
During the meeting, the two officials discussed issues of common interest between the two federations, the importance of activating them and ways of developing them in the coming period, especially since the two federations have a cooperation agreement to boost the game in both Qatar and Iran.
The visiting delegation also praised Qatar's hosting of the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup that ends on Saturday.
