Toulon, France: QFA President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani on Monday met with the players and backroom staff of the Qatar Olympic squad currently in France for the Toulon Tournament.
Qatar squad is using the Toulon Tournament to get match practice before feature in the AFC Asian U-23 Cup to be played in Thailand next year.
The event in Thailand will act as the qualifier for Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020.
The Qatar team will reassemble after the summer break in Doha and is expected to play more matches and events in their build-up to the tournament in Thailand.
Qatar, who lost to France in their opening clash on Monday, will take on Guatemala on June 5 and Brazil on June 8.
