DOHA: Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of the Qatar Football Association (QFA), received in his office on Thursday, HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports and Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, and his accompanying delegation.
The Saudi Minister is in Qatar on the invitation of H E Sheikh Joaan Bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, to attend the closing day of the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2020.
During the meeting, they discussed many issues of common interest and ways to enhance cooperation in the sports side, in addition to discussing many matters related to the development of football and achieving positive gains in the field of the game in the two brotherly countries.
The reception was attended by Hassan bin Abdullah Al Thawadi, Secretary General of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, Saud Abdulaziz Al Mohannadi, Vice President of QFA, Ali Daoud, Executive Director of the Office of QFA President, and Mushtaq Al Waili, Executive Director of the Strategic and Institutional Development Office, QFA.
