DOHA: QFA President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani on Tuesday welcomed in his office Swedish Football Association (SFA) delegation headed by President Karl-Erik Nilsson.
The meeting was also attended by QFA Vice President Saud Abdulaziz Al Mohannadi and QFA General Secretary Mansoor Al Ansari.
Hassan Al Thawadi, Secretary General of Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, was also present during the meeting on Tuesday.
Hakan Sjostrand, Secretary General of SFA also accompanied President Nilsson.
Ali Dawood, Executive Director of QFA President's Office, was also present.
The SFA President called on the QFA President on the sidelines of the Swedish national team's winter camp in Doha.
QFA President said Qatar looks forward to solidifying fruitful bilateral relations with the SFA, adding both parties stood to gain from improving football relations in the coming years.
Ways and means to develop football in both countries were discussed in detail.
Football development at the grassroots level was at the heart of the discussions on Tuesday.
Both officials later on exchanged souvenirs.
