DOHA: Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of the Qatar Football Association (QFA), received in his office on Wednesday afternoon Adnan Dirjal, the Iraqi Minister of Youth and Sports, who is on a visit to the State of Qatar.
This visit comes within the framework of the distinguished relations between QFA and the Iraqi sports family.
The meeting was also attended by Mushtaq Al Waili, Executive Director of the Strategic and Institutional Planning Office QFA.
The two officials discussed matters of mutual interest and seeking ways and means to develop fruitful years of cooperation between Qatar and Iraq in sports.
Both officials agreed to work on projects that would help develop football in Qatar and Iraq.
Later both officials posed for photographs and exchanged mementoes.
