Doha: The President of the Qatar Football Association (QFA), Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed al-Thani received yesterday, Wednesday 12 December, his counterpart of the Sudan Football Association, Mr. Kamal Shaddad in QFA’s headquarters located in Al Bidda Tower.
The Sudanese football chief is among 66 Presidents of federations from different countries across the continents for the three-day FIFA Executive Football Summit currently being held in Doha.
Secretary-General of the Sudan Football Association, Hassan Abu Gabal, Executive Director of the Strategic and Institutional Development Office of QFA, Mushtaq Al Waeli, and Executive Director of the QFA President’s Office, Ali Daoud were also present during the meeting.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen and further develop them. They also discussed matters of mutual interest and agreed to promote cooperation in the future to further develop football in the two countries.
During the meeting, they discussed several matters of mutual interest. The Sudan Football Association President highlighted the strength of the relationship between the Qatar and Sudan football federations and the importance of reinforcing that relationship by exchanging of experience and expertise. The two parties emphasized the importance of promoting cooperation in the future to further develop football in the two countries.
Mr. Shaddad expressed his thanks and appreciation to the QFA President for the remarkable reception and for the important role QFA plays in constantly supporting the development of football. He emphasized that the visit highlights the longstanding deep relations between the two countries.
