DOHA: Mansoor Al Ansari, the Qatar Football Association (QFA) Secretary General, on Thursday will attend an AFC Secretary-General’s conference with participation of top officials of five Asian regions.
The AFC conference, which will be held via video technology, will be held over two days to ensure that all member and regional federations have the opportunity to benefit from the resources, expertise and programs established by the AFC.
The conference is an extension of the annual program designed for general secretaries and for the first time this year will include senior leadership of the AFC regional federations as part of efforts to foster a spirit of partnership within the Asian football family.
Al Ansari will make a special presentation during which he will highlight the most important achievements of QFA in recent months.
Issues related to football action that was stopped because of the coronavirus pandemic sweeping the world will also be discussed.
