QFA signs agreement with Algerian Football Federation

  DOHA: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) and the Algerian Football Federation (AFF) signed on Friday a cooperation agreement at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The agreement was signed by QFA President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, and Kheiredine Zetchi, President of the Algerian Football Federation (AFF). The signing ceremony was attended by Mansoor Al Ansari, Secretary General of QFA, Ali Daoud, Executive Director of the Office of QFA President, and Mushtaq Al Waeli, Executive Director of the Office of Strategic and Institutional Planning, in the presence of Djamal Belmadi, the coach of the Algerian national team. The signing of the agreement comes as an important step in the way of the agreements signed by QFA and regional football authorties in recent times. The five-year cooperation agreement includes many aspects that are related to developing the game in both countries. The agreement also focuses on cooperation in more than one major field, in terms of technical and professional exchanges, exchange of experiences at the level of national teams and teams, (including the development of coaches and the development of young teams) and ways to benefit from the development of football in Qatar. After the conclusion of the signing ceremony of the agreement, souvenirs were exchanged between the two parties, and the shirts of the teams of Qatar, the Asian champions, and Algeria, the African champions, were exchanged.
