DOHA: The Disciplinary Committee of QFA held its meeting on Thursday - via visual communication - headed by Chairman Hassan Al Hammadi in the presence of all members of the Committee.
During the meeting, the mechanism of the committee’s work was discussed for the coming period under the current circumstances involving the coronavirus pandemic.
On Thursday, the Disciplinary Committee issued the following decisions to draw the attention of certain technical bodies for their lack of commitment to the approved medical protocol for the return of football activity for the 2019-2020 season
Key decisions:
- Penalty on Mr. Diego Agguire the coach of Al Rayyan Club, according to Article 44 and Article 9/2/3 of the Discipline Regulations and a fine of QR 30,000.
- Penalty on Mr. Oscar Hernandez, assistant coach of Al Sadd Club, in accordance with Article 44 and Article 9/2/3 of the Discipline Regulations and a fine of QR 30,000.
At the end of the conference call, the Disciplinary Committee called for compliance with the instructions of the Qatar Football Association, the Qatar Stars League Foundation and proper implementation of the medical protocol for the return of football activity in a way that guarantees safety for all.
