DOHA: The stage is set for the first round of matches of the 5th Banks and Financial Institutions League.
Al Gharafa Stadium will host the competition matches which will continue until the 20th of this tournament.
A total of 24 teams are participating in the championships. The 24 teams have been divided into four groups.
Fans can expect fierce battles as handsome cash prizes await the winners.
The overall prize bag of the tournament is QR 180,000.
The winners of the 24-team will get QR 60,000 while the runners-up will get richer by QR 50,000, organisers said.
The third-placed side gets QR 40,000 while the fourth-placed team wins QR 20,000.
The Quarterfinals will be played on Feb 15 while the semifinals will be held Feb 17. The final of the tournament will be played on Feb 20.
