Doha: In Doha, Qatar, four-time champions Al Duhail and defending titleholders Al Arabi have set the stage for an enticing Amir Cup quarter-final clash following impressive come-from-behind victories in their Round of 16 matchups yesterday. Seeking to end their season on a high note with a prestigious title, Christophe Galtier's Al Duhail displayed resilience to overcome Al Shamal 3-1. Despite Al Shamal taking a surprising lead in the 39th minute with Ricardo Gomes' goal, Al Duhail rallied back just before halftime with Philippe Coutinho's clinical penalty kick. Ismail Mohamad then put Al Duhail ahead early in the second half, and Michael Olunga sealed the win with a late strike after capitalizing on a goalkeeper error. Meanwhile, Al Arabi faced a tough challenge against Second Division side Al Sailiya at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium. Abdullah Mohammed opened the scoring for Al Sailiya in the 50th minute, but Al Arabi responded swiftly with goals from Abdou Diallo and Rafinha, securing a hard-fought 2-1 victory.
