Yangon, Myanmar: After a third consecutive stellar performance in which he netted twice to help Qatar beat Oman 2-0 and progress to the quarter-finals of the AFC U-19 Championship , Qatar's Ahmed Al Saadi said he is hopeful that Qatar is capable of beating China and book a place in the semis.
"After finishing as group winners, I think we have demonstrated that we are capable of taking on any team, China are a decent side, but we believe that we will be a match for them".
"It was important that we scored early in the second half, that really helped the us settle our nerves, knowing that we had to score goals today," said the man who tops the Qatari top scorer list with four goals in three matches so far in the tournament.
"Although they huffed and puffed for an equalizer after we scored, we came out again and got another goal, which was really great".
"From the beginning we knew we had some tough teams in this group but we are united as a group so I am happy with the result today"
