Al Sailiya, Al Sadd reveal marketing strategy for Emir Cup final

DOHA: Al Sailiya Club and Al Sadd Club announced marketing strategy and activities they’re implementing ahead of the Emir Cup final during a press conference at the Qatar Football Association (QFA) headquarters yesterday. The final will take place on May 17 at Khalifa International Stadium. The press conference was addressed by Saleh al-Ethba, Marketing Manager of Al Sailiya Club, Ahmed al-Ansari, Marketing Manager of Al Sadd Sports Club and Khalid Mubarak al-Kuwari, QFA Executive Director operations (Acting). Speaking on the occasion Saleh al-Ethba said, “For us, reaching the final of the Emir Cup is a great honour and an old dream, and we have put together a marketing campaign for Emir Cup and are working very hard in order to attract the greatest number of fans to attend the match by motivating them with different giveaways. We will give our loyal fans free tickets, and there will be a draw held for the tickets that will be distributed in Al Sailiya Club ahead of the match, the winner of the draw will win a car.” He added: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank the QFA and the President of Al Sailiya for their unlimited support. I want to emphasise that big surprises will be organised for our fans in addition to the draw of the car.” Ahmed al-Ansari said: “We thank QFA for taking the initiative to organise a press conference dedicated for the announcement of our marketing strategies ahead of the final match. Emir Cup is the most prestigious tournament of the year and we are eager and motivated to win the final and be crowned champions. We are planning a big surprise for the fans during the final of the cup.”
