Al Shahaniya coach Lotina resigns

DOHA: Al Shahaniya's Spanish coach Miguel Ángel Lotina has decided to
quit the Qatar Stars League (QSL) side, it emerged on Sunday.

The club has agreed to Lotina's decision, details have revealed.

Lotina, who was roped in June this year, will not lead the side
against Al Sadd on Monday.

It is believed Lotina resigned for 'personal reasons'.

Lotina only the second Spaniard to have plied his trade in the QSL.

The 57-year-old has coached more than 12 sides in his career.
