DOHA: Al Shamal succeeded in overturning a two-goal deficit against Al Arabi to win 3-2 at Suheim bin Hamad Stadium to pick up points in the QFA Cup.
Al Arabi opened the scoring through Ayoub Ezzi, (16). Abdulaziz Al-Ansari added the second goal (30) in the first half.
Al Shamal succeeded in scoring three goals through Majid Hassan (33), Yannick Sagbo with a penalty kick (39) and Diakti (71).
In the second match that took place on Saturday evening, Lusail defeated the Al Waab 2-0 at Al Sailiya Club Stadium.
The two goals for Lusail were scored by Abdel Halim Mahmoud (18) and Abdul Rahman Musaad from a penalty kick (38).
Ahmed Al Askar scored 38 Al Waab's only goal.
