DOHA: Al Shamal registered their first win of the Qatar Stars League by seeing off Al Khor 1-0 at the Al Shamal Stadium on Sunday. Burkina Faso striker Moumouni Dagano netted the all-important goal in the 11th minute. Meanwhile, Ashkan Dejagah scored in the 44th minute as Al Arabi beat Al Shahaniya 1-0. Al Wakrah, who had held champions Lekhwiya in the previous round, could not build on that as they lost 2-3 to Al Ahli. Alain Dioko gave Ahli a three-goal cushion after netting in the 55th,63rd and 66th minute while Reza (72nd) andMohsine Moutaouali (95th) found the target for the losers. Elsewhere, Al Kharaitiyat continued to show impressive run of form when they defeated Al Sailiya 2-1. Hassan Abdelfattah (16th) and Yahia Kebe (87th) scored for the winners while Faouzi Ayesh netted the lone goal for the losers in the 22nd.
