DOHA: Al Waab beat Al Tadamun 1-0 to go top of the standings in the
Qatar Amateur League.
Al Waab are currently perched at the top of the standings with 60
points after 23 matches.
Amwaj are in second spot with a tally of 57 points after 23 matches.
Military with 56 points are in third place.
Kahrama are in fourth spot with 42 points followed by fifth-placed
Doha with 40 points.
After their last game, Al Waab manager Tariq Ali said: "I am happy to
win this match. To be the first on the standings is a delight."
Ali added: "The team spirit is great in our camp. The opponents are
giving us good fight but we are responding in equal measure.
DOHA: Madinat Khalifa hammered Lebanese Community 5-2 in their round
23 clash in the Qatar Amateur League.
Playing with remarkable understanding up front, Madinat Khalifa were
rarely troubled in the one-side match.
In other matches, Latin United beat Al Quds 3-1 while Doha proved to
wily for Copros, winning their match 3-0.
Kahrama, exhibiting an attacking game, won 4-1 against Sumaisma.
Lusail and Al Matara played out a 1-1 draw while Military and Amwaj
