DOHA: Al Waab crushed Al Quds 3-1 in their 27th round clash of the
Qatar Amateur League this week.
In another match, Doha also posted a similar win over Lusail while
Kahramaa thrashed Madinat Khalifa 3-0.
Amwaj beat British Community 2-0 while Military Command embarrassed Al
Tadamon 8-0 in their lop-sided clash.
Smaisma eased past Sudanese Community 3-0 while Lebanese Community
thrashed Copros 3-1.
Meanwhile the clash between Al Matar and Latin ended in a 1-1 draw.
After 27 rounds, Alwaab lead the standings with 72 points followed by
Amwaaj (69 points) in second place.
Military Command are in third place with 68 points.
Kahramaa with 59 points are in fourth spot whereas Doha are in fifth place (47).
Smaisma (46) are in sixth spot.
Standings of other teams include Al Quds (36), Lusail (34), Al Matar
(32), Copros (32), Madinat Khalifa (32), Latin (30), British Community
(24), Sudanese Community (12), Al Tadamon (11) and Lebanese Community
