Vienna, Austria: Striker Ahmed Alaa will not be a part of Qatar's roster for this summer's Gold Cup set to take place in the United States of America, details have revealed.
The national team's medical staff determined that the Gharafa striker would be sent back to Qatar to resume rehabilitation and would need to rest and recover for at least three weeks.
Qatar are currently training in Austria in preparation for their participation in the Concacaf Gold Cup, hosted by the United States and Canada from June 24 to July 16.
