Al Arabi, the defending champions and eight-time title winners, were drawn against second-division side Al Sailiya. One of the most anticipated fixtures in this Round is between Al Duhail and Al Shamal. The winner of this match will face the victor of the Al Arabi vs. Al Sailiya match in the quarter-finals.
