The meeting was held on the margin of the ongoing Qatar national team training camp held in Italy. "You will have our full support for the success of the biggest event in football, we are certain Qatar will host a great World Cup in 2002, your impressive record of hosting major sports events speaks for itself" Mr. Baldissoni said. Both discussed matters of mutual interest during their informal meeting during which Khalil gifted Mr, Baldissoni with Qatar jersey signed by all Qatar players.
