Belmadi, Khalil to attend Gulf Cup draw in Riyadh

DOHA: Qatar national team coach Djamal Belmadi will attend the 2014 Gulf Cup draw ceremony to be heldin Riyadh, Saudi Arabi. This was confirmed by QFA officials on Friday. The draw ceremony will be conducted by the GCC organizing committee on August 12. National team director Ahmed Khalil will also be in attendance, QFA said. Eight national sides will vie for the regional trophy, hosts Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Oman, Bahrain Yemen, Iraq and Qatar.
