DOHA: Qatar coach Marquez Lopez has called up Ahmed Al-Rawi and Edmilson Jr. in the squad for their 2026 FIFA World Cup clash against North Korea on September 10. Asian champions Qatar lost to the United Arab Emirates in their first match of Group A qualifying phase on Thursday at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium.   Al-Rawi and Edmilson Jr will join the squad of 22 that has been named for the second phase of qualifying that will lead the successful Asian teams to the 2026 FIFA World CUp to be jointly held in the USA, Mexico and Canada. Qatar will play North Korea on Tuesday in Laos. ENDS
