DOHA: Qatar striker Abdulqader Eliyas has completed his move from El Jaish to fellow QSL side Umm Salal on an until the end of the season loan deal, Qatar Stars League club said on Monday.
Eliyas, who was part of the original El Jaish outfit which won promoted to the Qatari top flight four years ago, has been struggling to break into Nabil Maloul's starting line-up after the arrival of Brazilian Romarinho and Mohammed Muntari.
He is now the sixth El Jaish Player to currently play their trade at Umm Salal, he joins Murad Naji, Ismael Mamoud, Jeddo, Thamir Jamal and Rami Fayez.
Eliyas was included Qatar's recently announced preliminary squad for the Upcoming Gulf Cup set to take place in Saudi Arabia a month from now.
