DOHA: QSL side El Jaish have announced the signing of Brazilian defender Lucas Mendes from French giants Olympique de Marseille on a five-year contract.
Mendes will replace departed fellow citizen Anderson, who moved to Sao Paulo's Corinthians.
Lucas Michel Mendes (born 3 July 1990 in Curitiba, ParanĂ¡), more commonly known as Lucas Mendes, he plays as a left back but can also play as centre back.
He started his career at his hometown's biggest club Coritiba, before making a leaping move to Olympique de Marseille where he scored two goals in 40 appearances for France's most successful football club.
