DOHA: Schoolchildren in Doha, often the biggest fans of sports
activities in the country, have got into the thick of things,
attending programs related to Emir Cup football tournament, details
have revealed.
Qatar Football Association (QFA) has arranged for numerous activities
and family programs linked to the Emir Cup, the most popular football
event in Qatar.
More programs will be held until the day of the final - May 23 - at Al
Sadd Stadium, QFA officials said on Saturday.
This week, the Emir Cup promotional tours will be presented at the
Museum of Islamic Art Park where schoolchildren are expected to
feature prominently.
Community programs this year have also been a smash hit with children
of all ages, if attendances are any indication.
