DOHA: Ticket proceeds from the Emir Cup final held last month has been
handed over to ROTA Foundation, it was announced on Tuesday.
A sum of QR 53,310 was collected from the Emir Cup semi-finals played on May
15 at Al Sadd Stadium, QFA official Ahmed Abdul Rahman said.
Al Sadd beat El Jaish in the final.
Proceeds from the semifinals were also extended to ROTA Foundation
which passed on the money to victims of Nepal earthquake.
Fans attending the Emir Cup matches were also urged to make charity donations.
The Qatar Football Association (QFA) and Reach Out To Asia (Rota) - a
