Futsal Law Updates Discussed at QFA Referees Committee Meeting

Doha: The Referees Committee of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) held a meeting this evening with representatives of the clubs participating in the futsal competitions for the 2025–2026 sports season. The meeting marked the official launch and resumption of futsal activities for the new season.

 

The event took place at the new Radisson Blu Hotel building (Venus & Earth Hall) and was attended by Mr. Hani Talib Ballan, Chairman of the Referees Committee, and Mr. Mohammed Hassan, Technical Expert for Futsal Referees, along with futsal referees, club officials, head coaches, and team administrators.

During the meeting, the committee presented the latest amendments to the Laws of the Game and addressed inquiries from club representatives. The session followed the completion of the first week’s matches in the Futsal Cup and formed part of a series of lectures dedicated to coaches and administrators from participating clubs.

 

The meeting featured productive discussions and an open exchange between speakers and attendees, focusing on the interpretation and analysis of recent law changes and various refereeing cases in futsal.
