DOHA: The Emir Cup football trophy tour continued its journey and stopped by at the Al Yarmook school, Omar bin Al Khatab school, Jassim bin Hamad school and Doha school, the trophy was taken to all four schools and the students were ‘thrilled’ to finally get a chance to see the trophy.
The trophy’s journey will continue to different schools across Doha in the coming days.
The students of the Schools gathered around and took photos with the trophy.
The tour included a small welcoming reception in celebration of the arrival of the glorious cup to the schools.
A QFA delegate said: “The school trophy tour is part of our overall plan to involve the community and we believe starting the tour in the schools is a good way to implement our plan.”
He added: “We have witnessed a very positive response by the students of the schools we visited and hope to see the students enjoy the fun-packed programs that our sponsors have organized. We also hope to see the students in the stadiums.”
