DOHA: Al Waab hammered Madinat Khalifa 6-1 in their round 25 match of
the Qatar Amateur League to stay at the top of the points standings.
Al Waab now has a tally of 66 points at the top of Qatar Amateur League (QAL).
The points leaders dominated the match and walked off the pitch with a
4-1 scoreline at the halfway mark.
Mubarak Mustafa (15, 29 and 45 minutes) was the star of the match with
a stunning hat-trick, confounding the the Madinat Khalifa defense line
with his speed and passing.
Salim Abu Zaid and Mahmoud Hassan also chipped in with goals as did
Hamza Razzouk for Amwag.
Mohammed Mustafa scored the only goal for the losers.
In other games in the same round, KAHRAMAA crushed Lebanese Community
10-1 while the British Community edged past Lusail 4-3.
Doha beatSudanese Community 2-1 while the Copros-Smaisma clashed
in a 1-1 draw.
Al Matara beat Al Waab 4-0 to move closer to the top teams in the
points standings.
At the end of round 25, Alwaab lead the points tally with 66, followed
by Amwag (63) and Military Command (62).
