Fans Receive Prizes for Winning Emir Cup 2014 Social Media Competition

DOHA: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) announced the winners of the Emir Cup 2014 social media competitions today. The competitions were launched with support from different sponsors of the 42nd Emir Cup which include SONY-Fifty One East, Al Nahdi Group, Ooredoo. Fans on Facebook and Twitter were asked to guess the score of the semi finals and the final match, capture the best picture of the semi finals and the final match, guess how many times the teams that competed in the final match this year qualified to the final match in previous editions, and finally, point out the differences between two pictures posted by QFA. Twelve prizes in total were given to the winners. SONY-Fifty One East, the Official Sponsor of the Emir Cup 2014 offered a total of four QR2000 coupons, Al Nahdi Group also offered a total of four QR2000 coupons, whereas Ooredoo, the Official Telecommunications Partner gave away four iPhone 5S. خالد-667x287 Khalid Al Kuwari, Acting Chief Operations Officer in QFA commented: “We would like to congratulate all the winners on winning these amazing gifts that were offered by the valuable sponsors of the most prestigious tournament.
