DOHA: The draws for three events - one for the GCC Olympic teams,
second for Under-17 boys and the third for the regional futsal sides -
were held at W Hotel in Doha on Thursday.
The draw ceremonies was attended by Qatar Football Association (QFA)
officials Hamad Al Mannai and Abdullah Al-Muhannadi.
Other officials who conducted the draw included Faraj Al-Marri and Ahmed Mirza.
In the event for the Olympic teams, Qatar were paired with Kuwait and
the United Arab Emirates in Group A.
In Group B, Saudi Arabia was drawn along side defending champions Oman
and Bahrain.
In the draws for the GCC Under-17 sides, Group A includes Qatar,
Kuwait and Oman whereas in Group B, the teams are United Arab
Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
Qatar will host the tournaments from August 10 to 19 while the Olympic
championship kicks off from August 30 and ends on September 11.
