DOHA: Qatar Football Association (QFA) has appointed Abdullah Jassim as the new team director of the Qatar U-23 national team to fill the role vacated by Fareed Mahboob.
Fareed Mahboob left the U-23 top post to assume the role of director of the Qatar National team.
Jassim, a former Qatari international, was last active as sports director at Al Ahli sports club.
Qatar U-23 are preparing for the GCC U-23 championship set to take place later this year.
