Kuwait made it two wins out two in Group G of the second preliminary
round of joint-qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup/2019 AFC Asian
Cup with Al Azraq stalwart Bader Al Motawaa scoring the last three
goals of an emphatic 9-0 victory over Myanmar on Thursday.
"The Kuwait side put a smile on the faces of their fans," Sheikh Talal said.
"I would like to thank the people of Qatar for hosting us. We thank
the Qatar Emir His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, the QFA,
the officials at Lekhwiya Stadium for hosting our game," he added.
He said the Kuwait delegation was warmly received from 'the moment
they landed in Doha and when they left for Laos to play their next qualifier.
