DOHA: Former Al Sadd and Al Wakrah stalwart Khalifa Khamis and Ali Thawadi
on Monday wereinducted as new members of Qatar Football Association's
(QFA) Executive Committee.
Ali Thawadi thanked QFA for 'the honour' and said he would uphold all
football values while being a member of the committee.
Ali Thawadi was announced as a member at the General Assemblymeeting headed by QFA
President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani.
"I take this opportunity to thank all those who have helped me in my
career and those who believe I can serve QFA football in retirement,"
Khalifa Khamissaid.
"I thank the QFA President for trusting my abilities before honouring
me this post," he added.
"My ultimate goal is to serve Qatar football. I will do my best in
discharging my duties work with honesty and dedication," he added.
