Doha: H.E. Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani appointed as Chairman and Mansoor Al-Ansari as Managing Director The Executive Committee of the Qatar Football Association issued Decision No. (13) of 2023 regarding the formation of the Local Organising Committee for AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023, which is headed by His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani as Chairman, and Mr. Jassim Rashid Al Buenain as Vice-Chairman. The other members of the Local Organising Committee are Mr. Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Buenain, Mr. Ibrahim Khalil Al Muhannadi, Mr. Hani Talib Ballan, Mr. Mansoor Mohammed Al Ansari, Mr. Ghanem Ali Al Kuwari, Mr. Muhammad Khalifa Al Suwaidi, and a representative from the Ministry of Interior. Mr. Mansoor Mohammed Al-Ansari, General Secretary of the Qatar Football Association - in addition to his membership in the Local Organizing Committee - has been appointed as the Managing Director of the tournament.
