RIYADH: Experienced midfielder Wisam Rizq on Sunday said Qatar team
were frustrated in their goalless game against Yemen as 'luck deserted
the Al Anabi side' in the Group A match of the Gulf Cup.
Qatar were held to a 0-0 draw in their second Gulf Cup match at King
Fahd International Stadium on Sunday.
"I am not happy that luck deserted us in the game," Rizq said. "This
draw does not reflect that we tried so hard on the pitch. But somehow
we couldn't score any goals as luck was not on our side," he added.
"Yemen defended most of the time and it was obvious they were too
defensive," Rizq said.
"We have to play really attacking game against Bahrain and score
goals," Rizq said about the November 19 clash.
