DOHA: The 2015-16 season of Qatar Stars League (QSL) will get under
way in September, it was announced on Thursday.
According to details, the QSL sent an official circular to the 14 QSL
member clubs announcing that the domestic competition for the new
season will begin from September 11, 2015.
The schedule of matches is expected to be announced soon.
Lekhwiya, under the supervision of Danish coach Michael Laudrup, won
the last QSL title to make it four out of last five seasons.
They crushed Al Ahli 3-1 to seal the title with a round to spare.
Hussain Amouta’s Al Sadd who failed to capitalise on a perfect start
finished second while El Jaish ended the last QSL season on third
spot.
