DOHA: Coach Fahad Thani will take his Qatar Olympic squad for their first serious work out on Saturday as the string prepares for upcoming matches and events.
The Qatar Olympic squad will hit the training pitch on Saturday at Aspire Academy, Qatar Football Association (QFA) said on Friday.
Qatar will also feature in friendlies against Kuwait, Tunisia, Iran and Oman later this month.
The squad will also get ready for the U-23 Gulf Cup which kicks off on December 28 in Bahrain.
Coach Fahad Thani has been leading the team since March this year.
The Olympic squad is playing matches and events to prepare itself for 2016 Summer Games qualifiers.
