DOHA: Qatar Olympic national team on Monday edged past Lebanon in a friendly planned as part of preparations for future events. Qatar won 2-1 after resolute attacks on the visiting team’s defense line at Al Wakra Stadium. Lebanon got off to a flying start, scoring the opening goal in the 3rd minute. However, The Fahad Thani led Qatar side hit back with two goals to win the match. Ahmed Alaa leveled for Qatar on 17 minutes while Abdulrahaman Al Harazi scored the winner for Qatar on 32 minutes in the tense clash.
