Qatar announces batch of 26 players for two friendlies

DOHA: Qatar coach Djamel Belmadi has announced a batch of 26 players for the national team's two friendlies against Morroco and Peru. Qatar squad leaves for Morocco on Saturday for a training camp which will end on September 9, details revealed on Friday. During the camp, Qatar will play against Morocco on September 3. The second phase will end with an international against Peru on September 9. Qatar is preparing for their next two major assignments - the Gulf Cup in November and the 2015 Asian Cup to be held next January.
