Auckland, New Zealand: Qatar U-20 squad has left for Australia after their 1-0 loss
against Panama in a FIFA U20 World Cup warm-up match on Wednesday.
Coach Felix Sanchez's squad battled in their game against Panama and
exhibited fighting spirit despite the loss.
Qatar have beaten Australia and New Zealand in the last week.
Sanchez's squad only lost to Ghana in their opening friendly.
Qatar will play Mexico on May 18 before meeting Mali on May 21 in Australia.
After the two games, Qatar will return to Hamilton, New Zealand, and
prepare for the U20 World Cup to be held from May to June 20.
Qatar are tied along with Portugal, Colombia and Senegal in Group C at
the World Cup.
