DOHA: Exhibiting an aggressive brand of match tactics, hosts Qatar hammered the United Arab Emirates (UAE) 8-1 in their Ist GCC Nations Futsal Tournament match at Suheim BIn Hamad Stadium.
Dominating the match from the outset, Qatar scored goals at will for their impressive win.
Amr Mohsen opened the scoring for the hosts. However, the visitors hit back with an equaliser through Tariq Amaan.
Later, Qatar produced a slick game to register their win.
Qatar play Bahrain in their next game on Saturday while Kuwait take on the UAE at the same venue.
The first match starts at 4:00pm while the second tie kicks-off at 6:00pm.
